If everything’s getting harder, why aren’t women failing?
You guys aren't gonna like this, but when it comes to adapting and pivoting to new circumstances, women are better than men
One of the chief complaints of today’s men’s rights guys (and pick-me women who for some reason are weirdly interested in loudly and repeatedly trying to brand themselves as pro-man) is that girls are starting to do better in school than boys. At all levels. Better grades, fewer disciplinary problems, higher college enrollment, and they’re even starting to tip the scales for total years of education and being the majority in many white-collar job fields.
What’s wrong with men today?
The usual complaint internet men make is that school is designed for girls, because boys aren’t supposed to sit still, listen to female teachers, and pay attention, and need lots of breaks and long recess periods and special non-standard learning methods. Which is total bullshit because sitting in school paying attention to teachers has been exactly how school has worked since the invention of school.
The original schools were not some kind of boy-focused hands-on outdoor schools with all male teachers and recess every 30 minutes because boys need to run around and play. That was never a thing. Special schools like that were created long after regular schools had been a thing, often to fill a need for dim and delinquent boys who couldn’t cut it in regular school
The issue isn’t that boys can’t sit. You’re sitting right now, paying attention. Good job.
It’s that school got harder. Kids are learning calculus and quantum physics in first grade or something now. Okay, not really - but school has definitely beefed up academically over the decades. The material today is far more information-dense, boring, and hard than when we were kids, and many little boys who aren’t getting it are acting out because school is boring and confusing and they hate it.
If you live in an upper middle class white neighborhood and your kid hasn’t learned to read by the time he starts Pre-K, there’s a good chance he’s not ever going to college. Those kids are moving on to quantum physics by age 5 and your kid who’s still sounding out his ABCs is going to be put in the same room as the special-ed kids with down’s syndrome.
Meanwhile, girls who maybe don’t get it academically don’t act out the same way boys do, because they’re girls and girls like pleasing authority figures. So they can behave themselves a little better than the boys and avoid getting disciplined and sent off to psychiatrists to be numbed up on ADHD meds.
A more credible position than saying boys aren’t supposed to sit in chairs is that female teachers hate boys. Which is actually pretty true. My first wife was a teacher, and her teacher friends from work were horrible promiscuous drunks who hated kids and only ended up as teachers because they failed at life and couldn’t get better jobs, and also couldn’t get a man with a decent job to marry them so they could quit.
Teachers just want to go to work to get paid and not have the kids misbehave, and then these dumb boys who are having trouble with the material keep acting out and making their day worse and their job harder. They’re not (for the most part) vile hags who delight in flexing their power over male children. It would actually make their day if these boys would just pass their second-grade calculus tests and not make any trouble. Punishing kids who act out is hard work.
Anyway, now that I’ve gotten all of the stupid team-man internet guys mad and they’ve stopped reading and are angrily scrolling down to type mean replies or unsubscribe, we can move on to the far more interesting question than “what’s wrong with men”:
If everything’s getting harder, why aren’t women failing in spectacular fashion?
The modern world is fast-paced. Even moreso since we entered the internet age. The rate of change of the world is out of control. It’s impossible to keep up. What was gospel 5 metaphorical minutes ago is now forbidden to say, and what was unthinkably ridiculous 5 minutes ago is now mainstream. And in 5 more minutes that’ll all be different.
So now school teaches kids calculus (and all 57 genders) by age 6. We also know by age 6 who’s going to college and who’s not. Ask any teacher. Or even ask any parent. You know by first grade which of your child’s peers are going to be in college in 12 years and who’s not. And in 5 more minutes, we’ll know who’s college bound by age 3.
Men are better than women at a lot of things. Most things actually. But women have nearly always outshone men at adapting.
When the raiders are attacking your village, the men assemble with their spears, dig in their heels, and fight to keep their way of life the same. They’re either strong enough to do so, or they die. They’re not finding ways to change and adapt to the raiders. They’re fighting to avoid change.
If they die, five minutes later, their women are having sex with the raiders so that they don’t get speared. Ten minutes later, they’re wearing raider clothes and learning how to cook traditional raider cuisine. Fifteen minutes later, their raider children are attending raider public school and learning calculus. Twenty minutes later, they’re posting on X how great it’s been to have always been a raider woman.
Women excel, far better than men, at filling the shape of the container they’re given. If it’s 1950 and the social rules are that women are supposed to be June Cleaver, then every woman you know will know how to bake an excellent casserole while wearing one of those apron-dresses. Maybe behind the scenes a lot of them take some valium to help cope, but they hide it behind smiles and pleasantries as they perform the expected role with apparent gusto.
If it’s 2025 and the social rules are that women are supposed to go to college, and college isn’t actually about education and is more like a sex training camp where kids age 18-22 have hookups with age-appropriate, similarly situated peers so that they learn and become ready to have hookups with adults once they finish four years of sex camp — then that’s what women do. They get college degrees while spending 4 years having casual sex, then emerge as adults to get a degreed job and continue having casual sex.
And if the rules change tomorrow because the economy’s getting bad and now women are supposed to marry a rich guy and wear sundresses and make babies and not work, then that will be what women do. The same women who were selling porn on OnlyFans five minutes ago.
Meanwhile, if you tell a man the rules are changing in some way - even a trivial way - he grabs his spear and runs to his friends, or the internet, or both, to declare that the world is ending and the government, society, illuminati, Jews, uniparty, etc. are up to their shenanigans again.
He’s not going to adapt and pivot and change his life and his identity over and over. He’s going to resist change. And he’s going to be passed by because the rate of change has gotten pretty damn insane.
Every once in awhile, I wonder if women are real people, or just a collection of masks and dances. Roles they play, things they pretend. Then when their circumstances change, or even just when different people are around, they cast off their mask and trade it for another. Do they really change their very identity so easily? Is there actually an identity in there? Does it matter?
Regardless of what’s going on behind the eyes, women are experts at adapting. Pivoting. Keeping up with changing circumstances. Filling the shape of the container they’re given. Avoiding conflict.
And the modern world has a very low tolerance for conflict. If men don’t like the way a container is shaped, they’re going to have a bad time. The women will make sure of it.
School has actually gotten far easier. The adaptation part is true though but elite men tend to be the trailblazers for creating new environments. A lot of male corpses are left behind though.
“He’s not going to adapt and pivot and change his life and his identity over and over. He’s going to resist change. And he’s going to be passed by because the rate of change has gotten pretty damn insane.”
Because maybe, just maybe, constant change isn’t a good thing? Take a look at the world right now. In this highly feminized world, are things going swimmingly? Maybe there is a reason for all this “tradition” and “culture” and you burning it all down in the name of “progress” is an act requiring violent resistance.
