“All models are bad, but some are useful.” Similarly, all covert contracts are bad, but some are useful.
Marriage is like a game, sport, business and pretty much everything else in life. There's built in randomness and you can't control what other people do, so you can never be sure about the outcome. But with the right strategy, you can still maximize your chances of winning.
If you rephrase the Camp 3 thing to remove the self-congratulatory/mental masturbation part, this becomes a right strategy to maximize your chances of winning. I follow this strategy and it has worked out pretty well so far.
The “freeing” part is very true. Much like “she’s not yours, it’s just your turn”.
You can definitely step on your own dick and fuck things up, but there’s also the possibility she will do it for you and relieve you of having to deal with her.
🏆🏆🏆 Great post. I think Red Pill has been good at opening mens’ eyes to true behaviors of women some of us were not aware of.
Plenty of men are still naive about women even well into their twenties or later.
Boomers are still blind acting like total simps because that’s what they were taught to do. So, it’s good educational material for the young.
I got lucky and met the rare traditional woman from another country and culture without leaving the states, and we are both religious to boot. That’s the best combo really. Women who behave badly are influenced by bad culture, bad friends, and bad moral code. People behave better when they believe good behavior is required and are repulsed by degenerate, selfish behavior. Over 26 years married and we treasure each other (even when we pass an occasional rough patch.)
I recommend traditional women (as red pill does), not out of any loyalty to the red pill team, but because I honestly think western culture has created awful women who are very degenerate and selfish, entitled, masculine, argumentative, etc. (not all, of course, not all 🙄) But the traditional feminine women? Still a treasure to find. Certainly worth travel if you must.
Best thing to do is to not get married. View all relationships as temporary and that they will fail. All women are replaceable and they aren't special.
Our control runs along our nerves to the limit of our skin.
That's why men must withdraw commitment in case of BPD emotional terrorism using feminist law.
We're going through a mass extinction and nothing can negotiate with feminist emotional terrorists but the spirit of virtus will survive and inherit the earth.
Do you ever go to forums specifically about rebuilding classic cars and complain about how useless the entire hobby is to demonstrate to imagined internet onlookers how superior you are to guys who like talking about their car hobby?
I appreciate your framing of Reddit and the OYS threads. I seriously considered walking that path, but just could not bring myself to do it. I had an instinct that I would regret it, even if I was anonymous. In the end, posting OYS updates seemed like an invitation for abuse more than objective 3rd parties helping you see covert contracts, etc.
MRP holds a lot of value in the descriptive sense, as in accurately perceiving reality, but it falls short on the prescriptive sense. There are not a lot of solutions. Sure, the assertiveness training and the elimination of covert contracts is quite valuable, but there are no silver bullets, as you highlight.
It's interesting to me the different take-aways people have for things I type.
The original style of Red Pill content, both traditional forum and married, was a lot less entertaining than the more recent style of attention-grabbing edgy essays. Guys would simply type "here's what I did and here's what happened", and there would be a brief discussion. Then the guy would try to be different somehow in the future based on what happened and any part of the discussion he found useful, and later on, he might be typing a different post about how the different thing he did worked out.
As all things internet do, this practice morphed into a lot of autistic rule quoting to sound smart, with guys who aren't having sex pontificating on which rules and theories the guy having trouble in his relationship ran afoul of, while the guy having trouble almost seemed more like he was looking for an accountability partner and wanted daddy-drill-sergeant-red-pill to dress him down. Which was hilariously more entertaining but probably less useful.
Good article but red pill stuff is draining. At the end of the day no one cares about you but you. Red pill used to be interesting but now I see it like most things - a grift by snake oil salesmen.
Just calm down read the SERENITY PRAYER and you’ll be fine.
Whether the snake oil works or not, it's worth noting that there's no money here. Or at least not enough to get excited about. Divorced men and socially awkward weirdos who can't get laid are typically underemployed and not swimming in piles of disposable income to send to an internet man-guru who writes edgy content.
Most of the guys you see doing manosphere stuff online actually enjoy it. (Which is really weird, I know.) The few who actually pay some bills with their internet money ended up doing more work than a conventional job for a fairly mundane, non-rich-guy amount of money.
The internet as a whole is pretty saturated with people trying to get rich screwing around on the internet so they don't have to get a real job. Pissing manosphere stuff on to the internet isn't much of a money-maker.
I like your articles mate they always good. It’s just 95% of Red pill stuff is gay. Maybe I’m just over it. But many dudes need help I guess. Including me. No one is perfect. Anyway. Peace out.

Or just don't get married and get rid of the entire risk.
Don't overinvest in something temporary.

Do you morons EVER think about anything else? There's way more to life than sex, which is largely a waste of time and enegy.

Nope. I thought you were serious about this stuff. My mistake.
